Things just keep getting better....HAH. SARCASM.

So tonight was the opening night of my school production, 'Little Shop of Horrors.'

I'd like to say that everything went brilliantly........but.....

It didn't.


My good lad, Justin who is a senior is working the sound (which is not easy at all) has been like, the only thing keeping me sane. I'm really glad that I got to know him. He makes me laugh and he's a lot of fun to be around. Plus he's cute (;

I'll get into that more later.

Back to tonight.....

My cue's got out of order on me the last minute. Almost as if something touched them and messed them up. So....some of the lights....didn't....work.......but not everyone noticed. So it was no big deal but still, I felt like complete rubbish. And I still do.

And then poor Justin......within five minutes, a girl's microphone started making weird noises. Like this; SHSHSHSHSHSHHHHHHSHSHSHSHSHSHHHHHHHSHSHSHHSHHHHHHHH.....FJKASJFKLSJFLKASJFKSA.....SHSHSHSHHHHHHHSHSHSHSHHSHHHHH...................................................FKJASLJVLASKFHKASJFKS.

Anyway. That's my version of it. And he was stressed enough as it is. Then our theatre professor flipped a bitch at us and started yelling in our ears about how we were screwing up the show. Made me want to cry.

Another problem that happened with Justin was that someone in the cast didn't turn their microphone on like they were supposed to so the lad's voice was super quiet and there was nothing that Justin could do.....I felt bad for him.
Then Justin misses a cue to turn someone's microphone on so no one heard what the object was supposed to say...

Lovely, right?

I'm in pain right now.
Before the show started, Justin and I were goofy around and just having ourselves a good laugh. He was on stage and I was on the ground.

Justin: Hey, Shay? I wanna try something
Me: What?
Justin: I want to see if I can pull you up on stage with one hand. You're tiny. It'll work. You just have to jump.

Now, Justin is really buff. Like, I've seen him take his shirt off (on accident) and that boy is ripped. But he's only like, five foot and seven inches xD he's a shorty. But he's still taller than me :l

So we tried it.

And it failed.

Badly.

I ended up getting hit on the side of the stage. He did manage to pull me up though. It's just, I have three massive bruises on my legs. He felt really bad about that but we were both laughing.

Before the show, I was getting super nervous. And Justin could tell.

We were standing close together and I was lost in my thoughts and not paying attention. All of a sudden, Justin turns to me and just wraps his arms around me.

It caught me off guard because he's never hugged me before.

But for some reason, I felt like a million tons was lifted off of my shoulder.

so I said this;

Me: You have no idea how much I needed that hug
Justin: Me too. But hey, you're going to do great. I know it.

That made me feel loads better.


Some time after that, Justin was sitting in his chair and I was standing behind him and I placed my hands on his shoulders and he was like, "OOOH. MASSAGE TIME." He said that in an indian accent...he's a dork.

So I was nice and massaged him xD

But after a while, I sat down and he snuck up on me and started to massage my shoulders in return. It scared me! But of course he found another way to make me laugh.

He sniffed my hair and said, "You're hair smells AMAZING. It's super soft too! What is this?!"

This boy, I swear, is like the best guy friend I could ever ask for. He totally gets me and I get him.

I realize I'm just ranting about our friendship that started only a week ago but I want to fill you all in (:

We both ran onstage and I was wearing my fancy slippers (moccasins I think they're called?) and he grabbed my hands and started dragging me across the stage! Because me slippers didn't have traction, I just glided with him.
One of the actors came out and saw us while we were laughing and they were like, "Awww you guys are so cute!" We both blushed xD

And then I stole his keys

And he chased me everywhere

And tackled me

While laughing.


I swear.

Best. Guy. Friend. Ever.


But now my head feels like it's about to explode and for some reason my boyfriend is upset and I don't know why

HOPEFULLY TOMORROW NIGHT'S SHOW WILL BE BETTER.
